Special Recognition in Green Chemistry at OPSI 2025

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to share another proud moment for FIWA School.

Solahuddin Al Ayyubi Lubis (Grade 12) has received the Special Category Award in Green Chemistry at the Olimpiade Penelitian Sains Indonesia (OPSI) 2025, Senior High School – Science Category.

Solahuddin’s research focuses on creating natural acid–base indicator paper using extracts from butterfly pea flower, turmeric, and red dragon fruit peel.

His project, “Pengembangan dan Evaluasi Kertas Indikator Asam-Basa Alami Berbasis Ekstrak Bunga Telang, Kunyit, dan Kulit Buah Naga Merah,”

is a meaningful attempt to explore greener and more sustainable scientific solutions.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to the supervising teachers for their guidance and support throughout the research process. Their efforts played an important role in helping Solahuddin reach this stage.

May Allah ﷻ grant him blessed knowledge and guide every step of his learning journey.
