FIWA Students Commemorate Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day

Alhamdulillāh, FIWA School joined the commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day with gratitude and dignity.

This year’s celebration carries the spirit of *“Empowering the Nation through Tawheed and Knowledge.”* As an Islamic school, FIWA emphasizes that true independence is not only about freedom from colonialism, but also about building a generation rooted in faith and strengthened by knowledge.

The ceremony became a moment of reflection, reminding us of the Qur’anic prayer:

*“Ya rabb, make this a secure land and provide its people—those who believe in Allah and the Last Day—with fruits as their provision.”*
