Tangerang, December 15, 2023 - Excitement filled the air as students from Fitrah Islamic World Academy (FIWA) said goodbye to their families on Friday, December 15, 2023. They're off on a 28-day journey to Madinah, Makkah, and Qatar for Supercamp 2023.
Parents accompanied their children to the airport, providing support and bidding emotional farewells before the students' departure to Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Before taking off, the students got advice and guidance from the School Director and School Principal. The students were encouraged to make the most of their time and learn a lot from Ulamas.
FIWA students will first learn Arabic intensively at the Islamic University of Madinah, followed by Quranic memorization (tahfidz) and recitation sessions mentored by respected Ulamas at Masjid Nabawi. Their schedule also includes tours of Madinah, visits to special places like Jabal Magnet, and exploring Mathaf Nabawi to learn about the history and culture.
Following their time in Madinah, the students will undertake the Umrah pilgrimage, engage in prayers at Masjidil Haram, participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, and discover the city of Thaif. The concluding day of the program will be marked by a visit to Qatar.
